Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Mary Magdalene Sleeping by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,831.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Incredulity of Saint Thomas in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mary Magdalene Sleeping von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.831,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Incredulity of Saint Thomas im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
