Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Mi si è sfilata una scarpa by Giosetta Fioroni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,145.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giosetta Fioroni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interno familiare in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 86,557.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mi si è sfilata una scarpa von Giosetta Fioroni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.145,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giosetta Fioroni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interno familiare im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 86.557,00.
