Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work San Girolamo by Gioacchino Assereto was sold in the DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI auction at Christies in Rome in June 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 24,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gioacchino Assereto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Salome presenting the head of John the Baptist to Herod in July 2003 with an auction result of GBP 733,250.00 (€ 958,407.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit San Girolamo von Gioacchino Assereto wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 24.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gioacchino Assereto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Salome presenting the head of John the Baptist to Herod im Juli 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 733.250,00 (€ 958.407,19).
