Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composizione by Gino Severini was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 384.00 (€ 362.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Severini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,049,250.00 (€ 19,022,756.57).

Die Arbeit Composizione von Gino Severini kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 384,00 (€ 362,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Severini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danseuse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.049.250,00 (€ 19.022.756,57).
