Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2003 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Sulla spiaggia by Gino Piccioni. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 19,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 19,840.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gino Piccioni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Signora Sulla Spiaggia, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 52,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sulla spiaggia von Gino Piccioni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 19.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 19.840,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gino Piccioni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Signora Sulla Spiaggia beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 52.080,00 versteigert wurde.
