This artwork by Gimhongsok achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2015. In the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction, the work Canine Construction sold for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. This high result makes Canine Construction the most expensive artwork by Gimhongsok that we have observed at auctions so far.
