Admittedly, works by Gilles-Marie Oppenord have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Architectural capriccio with fountain and caryatids, an allegory of hunting in the foreground in February 2024 with an auction result of USD 56,700.00 (€ 49,554.27).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.569,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
