It achieved a price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 54,337.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gillette Elvgren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fascination, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,204.13).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 54.337,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gillette Elvgren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fascination beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.204,13) versteigert wurde.
