Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A winter landscape with figures sleighing and skating by Gysbrecht Leytens was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2009. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,250.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gysbrecht Leytens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 381,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures sleighing and skating von Gysbrecht Leytens wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.250,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gysbrecht Leytens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Hunters On A Forest Track And Children Playing On A Frozen River, Villages Beyond im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 381.600,00.
