Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Gotica by Gianpietro Carlesso. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,140.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Gianpietro Carlesso have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2010 the work Curvatura Sette was auctioned for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 38,878.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gotica von Gianpietro Carlesso zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.140,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gianpietro Carlesso konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2010 die Arbeit Curvatura Sette für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 38.878,42) versteigert.
