Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Di Primavalle Si Muore by Gianfranco Baruchello. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,998.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianfranco Baruchello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work E se prendessimo trenta pittori... (What if we Take Thirty Painters...), which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 76,589.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Di Primavalle Si Muore von Gianfranco Baruchello zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.998,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianfranco Baruchello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit E se prendessimo trenta pittori... (What if we Take Thirty Painters...) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 76.589,58) versteigert wurde.
