This artwork by Gianfilippo Usellini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Ritratto di Mario Tozzi sold for EUR 6,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianfilippo Usellini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ponza, which sold at auction in May 2001 for ITL 18,375,000.00 (€ 17,386.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gianfilippo Usellini erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Ritratto di Mario Tozzi für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianfilippo Usellini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ponza beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für ITL 18.375.000,00 (€ 17.386,16) versteigert wurde.
