Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work A Mountainous Landscape With A Genoese Castle On A Hill Top, With A Town At The Bottom by Giacomo Quarenghi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,986.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Quarenghi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four views of Bakhchiserai in the Crimea: Houses along the river; The walls of a mosque; A lane with a view of mountains; and A mosque among trees in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,147.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Mountainous Landscape With A Genoese Castle On A Hill Top, With A Town At The Bottom von Giacomo Quarenghi zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four views of Bakhchiserai in the Crimea: Houses along the river; The walls of a mosque; A lane with a view of mountains; and A mosque among trees im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.147,58).
