Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale, which included the work Gli amanti by Giacomo Manzù. The price achieved of EUR 4,788.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Manzù achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande cardinale seduto in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 421,750.00 (€ 671,843.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gli amanti von Giacomo Manzù zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.788,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Manzù erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande cardinale seduto im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 421.750,00 (€ 671.843,98).
