The work Mother and Child by Gertrude Käsebier was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June 2019. It achieved a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,954.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gertrude Käsebier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rodin, c. 1905, which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).

Die Arbeit Mother and Child von Gertrude Käsebier kam im Juni 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.954,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Käsebier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rodin, c. 1905 beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.805,30) versteigert wurde.
