The work Underwater by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof was worth EUR 5,377.50 to a buyer in February 2004. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 900.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flamengo'S, which sold at auction in May 2006 for EUR 15,600.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flamengo'S beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für EUR 15.600,00 versteigert wurde.
