Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fish In An Aquarium by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,360.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flamengo'S in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fish In An Aquarium von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.360,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flamengo'S im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
