This artwork by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Snoeken: Pike Swimming sold for EUR 1,434.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamengo'S in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof erzielte im September 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Snoeken: Pike Swimming für EUR 1.434,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamengo'S im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
