Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Haaienparadijs by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof. The price achieved of NLG 3,510.60 (€ 1,493.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamengo'S in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haaienparadijs von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 3.510,60 (€ 1.493,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamengo'S im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
