Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A ray; An eelpout; A sole by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2000. The price achieved of NLG 1,755.30 (€ 746.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flamengo'S in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A ray; An eelpout; A sole von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof kam im März 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.755,30 (€ 746,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flamengo'S im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
