Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1948 by Gérard Vulliamy. The price achieved of EUR 574.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Vulliamy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Violoniste III - 1948 in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 2,860.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1948 von Gérard Vulliamy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 574,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Vulliamy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Violoniste III - 1948 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.860,00.
