This artwork by Gerard Traquandi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April 2006. In the Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain et Collection Marie-Christine et Roger Pailhas auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 11,760.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gerard Traquandi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sans Titre - 2004 sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of EUR 14,950.00.
