Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dancers by Gerard Hordijk was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 776.75. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Hordijk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 2 femmes in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 9,000.00.

Die Arbeit Dancers von Gerard Hordijk wurde im September 2002 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 776,75 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard Hordijk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 2 femmes im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.000,00.
