Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction DUTCH, FLEMISH AND GERMAN OLD MASTER DRAWINGS, which included the work The Finding of Moses by Gerard Hoet I. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 2,223.38 (€ 1,041.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Hoet I achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mars paying homage to Venus in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,324.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion DUTCH, FLEMISH AND GERMAN OLD MASTER DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Finding of Moses von Gerard Hoet I zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 2.223,38 (€ 1.041,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard Hoet I erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mars paying homage to Venus im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.324,70).
