In the Irish Art, including Property from the Collection of Sir MichaelSmurfit auction, the work Tory Island sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 48,627.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerard Dillon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dreamer in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 416,806.45).
