The work The Haymakers (Inishlacken) by Gerard Dillon was sold in the Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in September 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,156.43), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerard Dillon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dreamer in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 416,806.45).

Die Arbeit The Haymakers (Inishlacken) von Gerard Dillon wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
