Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work KM (Kate Moss), 2008 by Gerald Laing was worth GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,881.89) to a buyer in February 2021. This price was achieved in the auction British. Cool. at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerald Laing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beach Wear in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,743,457.40).

Die Arbeit KM (Kate Moss), 2008 von Gerald Laing war einem Käufer im Februar 2021 GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.881,89) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion British. Cool. bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerald Laing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beach Wear im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.743.457,40).
