A top price for Gerald Laing
The work Beach Wear by Gerald Laing was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,743,457.40). With this result, Beach Wear is even the most expensive work of art by Gerald Laing that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Beach Wear von Gerald Laing kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.743.457,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Beach Wear sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gerald Laing, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
