The work La liseuse by Georges d' Espagnat was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,795.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges d' Espagnat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 336,600.00.

Die Arbeit La liseuse von Georges d' Espagnat kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.795,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges d' Espagnat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.600,00.
