Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work L'Enfant au chat - 1898 by Georges d' Espagnat. The price achieved of EUR 14,432.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges d' Espagnat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 336,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Enfant au chat - 1898 von Georges d' Espagnat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 14.432,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges d' Espagnat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.600,00.
