Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dismounting from the coach by George Wright was sold in the Sporting and Wildlife Art auction at Christies in London in June 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,024.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by George Wright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casting About; And Gone To Earth in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,363.80).

Die Arbeit Dismounting from the coach von George Wright wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Sporting and Wildlife Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.024,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
