Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Wright could be acquired at Christies in London in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the An Opulent Aesthetic: An Important Private Collection from an English Country House auction, the work A Gordon setter in a landscape; and A pointer in a landscape changed hands for GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,024.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Wright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casting About; And Gone To Earth in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,363.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
