Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by George Stoll was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,284.04). Admittedly, works by George Stoll have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,050.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von George Stoll kam im April 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.284,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Stoll auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.050,13).
