Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 6,931.00 (€ 10,399.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Russell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ring-a-ring-a-roses in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 42,300.00 (€ 67,875.90).
