The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,577.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George John Pinwell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fine Lady, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,435.48).
