This work of art by George Herms could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,731.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Herms have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Song for Hope in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,671.16).
