Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,952.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Henry Harlow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Kitty Stephens, Later Countess Of Essex (1794 - 1882) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67).
