The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,547.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Henry Harlow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Kitty Stephens, Later Countess Of Essex (1794 - 1882) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67).
