This artwork by George Cochran Lambdin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2002. In the FINE AMERICAN PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS AND SCULPTURE auction, the work Still Life: Roses II sold for USD 15,275.00 (€ 17,642.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Cochran Lambdin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cyclamen, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,725.70).

In der Auktion FINE AMERICAN PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS AND SCULPTURE wurde die Arbeit Still Life: Roses II für USD 15.275,00 (€ 17.642,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von George Cochran Lambdin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cyclamen beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.725,70) versteigert wurde.
