In the Property from the Collection of Nelson Rockefeller: Eastern Traditions & Western Visions auction, the work Kniende (Kneeling Girl) sold for USD 81,900.00 (€ 68,547.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Kolbe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tänzerin in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 736,000.00 (€ 1,082,490.90).
