However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Genieve Figgis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Debutants Ball, which sold at auction in March last year for CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 189.000,00 (€ 215.024,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Debutants Ball beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07) versteigert wurde.
