The work View Over Moscow by Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View Over Moscow is the most expensive artwork by Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov that we have observed at auctions so far.
