Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Fair by Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,099.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Over Moscow, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fair von Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.099,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gavriil Nikitich Gorelov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Over Moscow beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 36.500,00 (€ 51.109,44) versteigert wurde.
