Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il fumatore by Gaston Leroux was auctioned at Il Ponte in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston Leroux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French fumeur Et Musicienne in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,402.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il fumatore von Gaston Leroux kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston Leroux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French fumeur Et Musicienne im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.402,33).
