The work Acrobat; together with Dancer by Gaston Lachaise was worth USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,104.97) to a buyer in September 2017. This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston Lachaise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Woman [LF 92|AID104142] in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 3,732,500.00 (€ 3,296,387.88).
