Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The water fountain by Gaston La Touche. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,521.70), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston La Touche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Entracte in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 149,957.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The water fountain von Gaston La Touche zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.521,70) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston La Touche erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Entracte im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 149.957,16).
