In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work La Lettre changed hands for USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,231.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston La Touche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Entracte in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 149,957.16).
