Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Saint John the Baptist by Gaspare Diziani. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,227.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaspare Diziani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alexander And Diogenes in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 142,604.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint John the Baptist von Gaspare Diziani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.227,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaspare Diziani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alexander And Diogenes im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 142.604,07).
