In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An Italianate wooded landscape with figures resting in the foreground, a hilltop town beyond; and An Italianate wooded landscape at dusk, with figures conversing in the foreground, a town beyond by Gaspard Dughet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,220.14), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gaspard Dughet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with figures by a river in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 237,188.87).

Im Juli 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italianate wooded landscape with figures resting in the foreground, a hilltop town beyond; and An Italianate wooded landscape at dusk, with figures conversing in the foreground, a town beyond von Gaspard Dughet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.220,14) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaspard Dughet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures by a river im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 237.188,87).
