This artwork by Gaspard Dughet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2018. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A classical landscape with figures on a road, a town beyond; and A wooded landscape with a lake and a man with his dog in the foreground sold for GBP 156,250.00 (€ 175,190.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gaspard Dughet; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A wooded landscape with figures by a river sold at auction in April 2007 with the realized price of USD 324,000.00 (€ 237,188.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaspard Dughet erzielte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wurde die Arbeit A classical landscape with figures on a road, a town beyond; and A wooded landscape with a lake and a man with his dog in the foreground für GBP 156.250,00 (€ 175.190,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gaspard Dughet; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures by a river im April 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 237.188,87).
